Brave Little Boy – Noah Woods

The story goes like this:

“Noah was one of eight family members asleep in their home in Bartow County, Georgia, when he woke up to smoke and flames in the bedroom he shared with his 2-year-old sister. He jumped out of bed, grabbed his sister and got out of the house through the only exit available, an open window.

He then ran next door to his uncle’s house for help. Together, they alerted the rest of the family. Everyone made it out safely.

Noah Woods was named an honorary firefighter and received a rare lifesavers award for his heroics.” It was in February 2020. (By Francisco Guzman and Brian Ries, CNN, Updated 1423 GMT (2223 HKT) February 14, 2020)

Bravery and Value – Definitions Needed?

One of the definitions of bravery from Merriam-Webster Dictionary is: ”the quality or state of having or showing mental or moral strength to face danger, fear, or difficulty: the quality or state of being brave: COURAGE //showing bravery under fire”. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bravery

Any definition is usually short, otherwise, it would be considered a novel. This young boy and his deed made us all proud of being humans. That is a hardly descriptive value. Because sometimes someone just leaves us speechless. And often words become superfluous. Acts speak for them. And, unlike the definitions, they can last forever illuminating our future.

My Content-Length Analyses warned me that: “ The content is below the minimum of words. Add more content”. But,  there’s no need for too much text here. Before I launched my new blog I knew I wanted to post this.  This boy deserves that! Thank you, Noah! Planet hails you!
